5062 Dinosaur Bone and Rhodolite Garnet Ring

Fossilized Dinosaur Bone and Orissa Rhodolite Garnet Ring, size 8. 19.8 mm x 14.6 mm specimen with 1.75 ct. of faceted Orissa Rhodolite Garnet, set in rose gold over sterling silver with beautiful filigree work and a finished under gallery. This piece is definitely a conversation starter. The fossil is approximately 65 million years old. No two patterns will be exactly the same, including within specimens cut from the same bone. While Rhodolite Garnet is found in several locations, the Orissa mine that once produced this luscious shade of Bordeaux colored garnet was mined out and closed several years ago. Truly unique!
