Ethiopian Welo Opal "Y" necklace. 9.84 ct. set in platinum over sterling silver. 16" double chain provides stability with the "Y" adding a further 3" to the piece. One of my favorite stones! It's difficult to impart the justice due this magnificent gem with a photograph. These beauties are 'light shy' and show far more color in a low light setting. This piece boasts 33, 6 mm x 4 mm pear cut cabochons with an additional 2, 6 mm x 5 mm stones at the center and bottom of the drop. Pure elegance!
